Policies for CTIAR-25 Authors

CTIAR (Conference on Technologies in Artificial Research) looks forward to welcoming everyone to Manitoba in April 2025. To help you better plan for your participation at the conference, please review the author presentation policies below. When submitting your camera-ready version, authors of accepted papers must acknowledge these policies and agree to comply.

1. In-Person Presentation Requirement
At least one author is required to present their paper in person and must, therefore, register for the conference at the in-person rate.
Policy on Use of AI Systems in Producing CTIAR or CTIAR-Related Publications

1. Plagiarism and Use of AI Systems (e.g., ChatGPT or Similar LLMs)
2. AI Systems and Authorship
CTIAR-25 follows the CTIAR policy that AI systems, including generative models such as ChatGPT, Bard, or DALL-E, do not meet the criteria for authorship of papers published by CTIAR. As such, these systems also cannot be cited as sources in papers published by CTIAR.
3. Handling Allegations of Plagiarism
Any allegation of plagiarism, whether due to the use of an LLM or any other reason, will be investigated thoroughly by CTIAR. If plagiarism is substantiated, potential sanctions include:
